Carlos Gesino has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Mills Capital, the financial group specializing in investment, financing, and wealth management.

The appointment comes as part of a stage of consolidation and expansion across the group's business units, following an institutional evolution that, in recent years, has brought together investment, financing and wealth management capabilities with a presence in Argentina and Europe.

The new CEO has more than 24 years of experience in business leadership, strategy and organizational transformation, developed both nationally and internationally. His career includes senior leadership positions at companies such as Carrefour and Globant, with a focus on general management, business expansion and organizational transformation. At Mills Capital, his appointment is aimed at leading a new stage of growth and consolidating a management model that combines financial strategy, technical expertise and close relationships with clients and teams.

Most recently, Gesino served as CEO and board member of Hausler, a Grupo Mills company specialized in private safe deposit box services. In that role, he supported the company's development and growth over the past several years. According to his professional profile, he held that position for five years, during which the company underwent a process of professionalization, structural organization and sustained growth.

"I take on this challenge with the responsibility and conviction that sustained growth requires strategic coherence, disciplined execution and a vision for the future. Mills Capital has already reached a level of maturity that allows us to position ourselves as a solid, client-centered financial organization, prepared to respond to an increasingly demanding and dynamic environment," said Carlos Gesino, CEO of Mills Capital.

The executive's academic background includes a degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina. He also holds postgraduate degrees, including an MBA from Universidad del Salvador – Universidad de Deusto and a Master's in Finance Management from the Universidad de Barcelona. In addition, he completed further training at the Escuela Superior de Guerra, the Universidad de la Defensa Nacional, and various advanced executive management programs.

Throughout his career, Gesino held executive roles in commercial, operations and marketing areas in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, with regional scope. He began his professional path in the Argentine Army, a stage he describes as formative in planning, leadership and decision-making.

At Grupo Carrefour, he held regional responsibilities across Latin America. Among other positions, he served as Vice President of Merchandise and Marketing for the Americas Zone, Director of Durable Goods Merchandise in Brazil, and, over 18 years in Argentina, as Regional Director and member of the Executive Committee. He later took part in the creation of Paraguay Retail Ventures alongside a private equity fund.

Amid a market environment marked by greater digitalization and complexity, the company placed its focus on experienced leadership and on an organizational culture built on trust, professional judgment and consistency over time.
